EPAT Therapy, commonly referred to as Pressure Wave Treatment, Extracorporeal Shock Wave Technology (ESWT) or Shockwave Therapy, accelerates the healing process in the body by stimulating the metabolism and enhancing blood circulation to regenerate damaged tissue.

Strong energy pulses are applied to the affected area of the body. These pulses occur for short periods of time, creating micro-cavitation bubbles that expand and burst, stimulating cells in the body that are responsible for bone and connective tissue healing.

In many instances, EPAT Therapy is most effective in cases where the human body has not been able to heal itself on its own.  Read more here.

Stem cell therapy can promote cell regeneration, improve system management, regulate immune system, replace damaged or diseased tissue, reduce inflammation, and improve energy

You may have heard about stem cell treatments for MS (Multiple Sclerosis) in the news lately, and we couldn’t be more excited!  In addition to administering IV Stem Cell Infusions for MS, those who have suffered a stroke or have Parkinson's could also be great candidates.

“Recent reviews with data from single-treatment clinical trials and observational studies also report a general reduction in disease activity with [stem cells] — between 61% and 92% of patients experienced no relapses, disability worsening, or new lesions, a status called no evidence of disease activity (NEDA) after two years of follow-up,” said Multiple Sclerosis News Today on 6/23/22.

There are different sources and types of stem cells- think of it as food:

Not all food is the same- there’s fruit, meat, grains, vegetables, etc.

Not all fruit comes from the same place- oranges are grown more in the south, some exotic fruits are only grown overseas.

Stem cells can come from umbilical cord tissue, amniotic fluid, bone marrow, or even adipose tissue (fat cells). The type of stem cells used and the form of injection (into your body part vs. a whole body infusion) would be determined after Dr. Anwar can evaluate your condition.

Stem cell therapy can promote cell regeneration, improve system management, regulate immune system, replace damaged or diseased tissue, reduce inflammation, and improve energy.  There are constant advances being made, and we are very excited to attend the American Academy of Stem Cell Physicians national conference in Chicago this fall!

Stem cell banking, which utilizes cryogenically frozen stem cells, has been made possible thanks to the advancement of modern science. By banking your stem cells, you can take advantage of their regenerative capabilities. Known as “health insurance for the future,” you can be prepared for any potential medical conditions or need for medical treatment that may arise down the line. Stem cells derived from autologous (your own body’s) tissue are ideal for those looking to bank their cells. Research shows that telomeres, the protective end caps on DNA that shorten with age, are longer on your own adipose (fatty) tissue than bone marrow. This makes your fatty tissue an ideal and less painful source for preserving stem cells. Exosomes, derived from placental or umbilical cord tissue, are often recommended for older adults or those with other medical issues. However, banking your stem cells would be the best option if you have a younger and healthier body. Parents can also choose to bank tissue of their newborns, to culture expand the mesenchymal stem cells (MSC) stored in the tissue. This banking is different than cord blood because doing so can provide up to 500 million live MSCs available to their children in the future, ensuring they have access to regenerative treatments and therapies as needed or desired. The potential benefits of stem cell banking are endless. You might use your banked cells for back or arthritis pain in joints, injuries such as a torn ligament or inflamed tendon, accelerated healing of more severe fractures, or even aesthetic treatments.
