New Shockwave treatment, ICSS, and a free stretch!

LOOK WHAT'S NEW AT OUR OFFICE!

EPAT Therapy, commonly referred to as Shockwave Treatment, Extracorporeal Shock Wave Technology (ESWT) or Pressure Wave Therapy Technology, accelerates the healing process in the body by stimulating the metabolism and enhancing blood circulation to regenerate damaged tissue.

Strong energy pulses are applied to the affected area of the body. These pulses occur for short periods of time, creating micro-cavitation bubbles that expand and burst.

The force created by these bubbles penetrates tissue and stimulates cells in the body that are responsible for bone and connective tissue healing.

In many instances, EPAT Therapy is most effective in cases where the human body has not been able to heal itself on its own.

We aren't quite ready to launch this new technique just yet but couldn't wait to share the news! Talk to Dr. Anwar more and soon we can schedule your appointment for Shockwave therapy.

ICSS International Cell Surgical Society

Dr. Anwar attended the International Cell Surgical Society conference recently and came back with a wealth of knowledge and advanced training. As far as regenerative medicine has come so far, the advancements aren’t stopping, and neither are we! With decades of experience diagnosing and managing pain, Dr. Anwar has been able to help countless people with their quality of everyday life. If you aren’t currently one of our stem cell patients but still have questions, just ask!

Exosomes produced by mesenchymal stem cells contain instructions that support the development, healing, and regeneration of body tissue. As we age, in the same way that the behavior of cells deteriorates, the instructions contained within exosomes by aging cells also change. Exosomes produced by mesenchymal stem cells on the first day of life contain the most potent cellular message supporting human development.

Stem cell banking, which utilizes cryogenically frozen stem cells, has been made possible thanks to the advancement of modern science. By banking your stem cells, you can take advantage of their regenerative capabilities. Known as “health insurance for the future,” you can be prepared for any potential medical conditions or need for medical treatment that may arise down the line. Stem cells derived from autologous (your own body’s) tissue are ideal for those looking to bank their cells. Research shows that telomeres, the protective end caps on DNA that shorten with age, are longer on your own adipose (fatty) tissue than bone marrow. This makes your fatty tissue an ideal and less painful source for preserving stem cells. Exosomes, derived from placental or umbilical cord tissue, are often recommended for older adults or those with other medical issues. However, banking your stem cells would be the best option if you have a younger and healthier body. Parents can also choose to bank tissue of their newborns, to culture expand the mesenchymal stem cells (MSC) stored in the tissue. This banking is different than cord blood because doing so can provide up to 500 million live MSCs available to their children in the future, ensuring they have access to regenerative treatments and therapies as needed or desired. The potential benefits of stem cell banking are endless. You might use your banked cells for back or arthritis pain in joints, injuries such as a torn ligament or inflamed tendon, accelerated healing of more severe fractures, or even aesthetic treatments.
