The authors conclude that exosomes are involved in nearly every stage of reproduction and may eventually become valuable tools for both diagnosing and treating fertility disorders.
More recent reviews have expanded on these findings, suggesting that mesenchymal stem cell-derived exosomes may help:

Reduce inflammation and oxidative stress

Enhance communication necessary for embryo implantation
Most of this evidence currently comes from laboratory and animal studies, with relatively limited human clinical data available.
